Everyone claims they have the “best” chicken wings but are they using Angell Spice Shake & Rub? If not then that claim is simply not true (in our opinion). A wonderful feature of the Angell Spice blends is that they not only make everything taste better but they also seal in the flavours and the juiciness of meats!

 

This recipe is for our unbreaded chicken wings but we also have a recipe for 
breaded chicken -equally succulent! Either way all of our meaty chicken wing recipes produce perfectly-seasoned, golden brown, lip-smacking deliciousness. Toss in our suggested sauce or your own concoction—as long as you include Angell Spice they will be The Best!!

ANGELL WINGS: 

OVEN-BAKED CHICKEN WINGS

YIELD: 1 lb (10-12 pcs)
COOK TIME: 30 mins

This recipe leaves the type of Angell Spice up to you but we prefer Fallen Angell Spice mainly because we are heat fanatics! But if you are not, we suggest using Tame or Naughty Angell Spice. If you prefer your chicken wings without sauce, we highly suggest using Naughty Angell Spice as it is the blend that seals in chicken wing juiciness the best.

Tips for Crispier Wings: (try one or all!)

  • Add 3/4 Tbsp of baking powder (NOT baking soda!) to your dry mix.

  • Place a cooking rack in the cookie sheet pan.

  • Turn wings more often during the cooking process.

PREP TIME: 45 mins
WHAT YOU NEED
  • 1 lb chicken wings (10-12pcs) 

  • 1 Tbsp oilive oil

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp ground pepper

  • 1 tsp table salt

  • 2 Tbsp Angell Spice Shake & Rub (blend of choice)

  • Sauce of Choice - optional (i.e. Honey Garlic, Teriyaki, BBQ, etc.)

PREPARE & COOK

Pre-heat oven to 400°F.

 

In a small bowl combine olive oil, lemon juice, ground pepper and table salt. Stir mixture and lightly coat chicken wings. Once the wings are coated in the mixture, generously apply the Angell Spice of choice to the chicken. Let stand in fridge covered for 30 mins.

Place Angell Spice wings on medium size cookie sheet, spreading the wings out evenly in a single layer. Bake wings until cooked through and skin is crispy - approx. 30-40 mins, turning the wings every 10 mins during the cooking process.

Once completely cooked toss wings in sauce of choice then serve immediately.

Tossing Sauce Suggestion:

In a small bowl combine 3 Tbsp BBQ sauce, 1 Tbsp Teriyaki sauce, 1/2 tsp Worshershire sauce, a dollop mustard. Mix together and let stand until chicken wings are cooked.
