Whether you like your Caesar Salad dressed in a creamy, garlicky sauce or a vinaigrette, adding some Tame Angell Spice Shake & Rub is a fabulous enhancement to any Caesar salad. You really don’t need a lot but once you try it once on your Caesar salad you will never go without again!  This recipe’s ingredients for a great Caesar salad uses Renee’s Caesar Salad Dressing (our favourite after many years of trying many different types of dressings!), but you can of course make your own dressing from scratch (Angell Spice goes with any dressing type). And the ingredients we include below are suggestions but you may wish to add or omit a few. No matter how you like it, just don’t forget the Angell Spice!

RECIPE NOTES & TIPS

Some great, easy-to-make ingredient ideas you can add:

  • Fresh tomatoes, cubed

  • Hard boiled eggs, halved

  • Sliced garlic mushrooms, sautéed

  • Spritz of lemon juice

Brilliant Idea! If you have some breaded or nonbreaded chicken burgers hanging out in your freezer, simply cook them as per brand instructions (not forgetting to sprinkle with Angell Spice Shake & Rub on both sides), cut into strips, toss in 2 Tbsp of Teriyaki sauce (or your favourite sauce) and place on your Caesar salad. Done & Done!!

Pre-heat oven to 375°F.

Place bacon strips on a greased cookie sheet and dust with Tame Angell Spice. Cook for 8 mins, flip strips and cook for 5-7 mins (oven temps vary so monitor the cooking process). Crumble once cool.

While the bacon is cooking, cut lettuce into bite-size pieces, wash and spin dry. Place lettuce in large bowl and add all ingredients and dressing. Only toss 10 mins before serving so it stays crispy while still giving the salad time to soak up all the flavours!
