Mushroms are great with so many dishes including many vegetarian dishes but for us we like it as an accompaniment to a nice juicy steak or atop a plump burger. We like to add garlic when serving sautéed mushrooms as a side dish with a protein, but sometimes the garlic just is not necessary and does not necessarily “add” anything to your main dish. Either way you decide to sautée your mushrooms, as long as you add Angell Spice Shake & Rub they will be delicious!

PREP & COOK

Wash mushrooms throughly and remove stems (optional). Drain in colander and set aside to continue draining.

Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat, then bring butter and garlic to a simmer. Add mushrooms and toss to coat. Sprinkle in black pepper, salt and Naughty Angell Spice. Continue cooking, moving mushrooms so that they cook evenly, until they start to soften. Cook until golden brown (8-10mins).

BBQ Grilled Mushrooms Cooking Method:

Mushrooms can also be cooked on the BBQ grill. Simply place mushrooms and related ingredients on a large piece of aluminum foil (piece of foil should be large enough to fold up and cover the top of the mushrooms). Fold up piece of foil over the mushrooms and pinch along the top seam and on ends so it is sealed well. Place foil packet on BBQ for 10 mins then shake lightly and place back on grill for final 10 mins (see Video for foil wrapping tutorial).
