What to do with all these leftovers?!!! One thing our family hates is wasting food. We are so fortunate to even have food to eat when so many go hungry every day. So we have a very hard time throwing out food, especially leftovers. So because of this we must always come up with some imaginative ways to use leftovers in a way that the leftovers taste refreshed and not “ worn” like good old leftovers. We assume that all your leftovers were originally cooked with Angell Spice, but if they were not, no worries, we will add a little more to our refurbished cuisine. We guarantee you that with a little imagination and Angell Spice, you will never throw out leftovers again!
This particular pot pie recipe is perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas leftovers (chicken/ turkey, mashed potatoes, veggies, stuffing, etc), but we have also made it with leftover roast beef or ground beef and veggies. You can really throw anything in that is hanging around in your fridge’s abyss!
On a side note: Using Angell Spice to cook your original meals helps your leftovers taste even better the next day—Angell Spice just keeps getting bettr and better as it sits, even in your fridge.

In a large pot, toss in all of your leftovers. Ensure all the ingredients are no larger than bite-size pieces. If not, simply cut into bite-sized pieces. Add chopped green onions, 1/2 Tbsp of your Angell Spice Shake & Rub and your leftover gravy or your cup of new gravy. Mix together well and cook over medium-high heat until just before boiling. Take off heat and set aside.
(See pics for visual instructions of this step)
Open the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls packages and lay each of the doughs out flat on some flour (do not separate any pieces). Pinch all the perforated seams together to create 2 large pieces of dough. Using a floured rolling pin, flatten the doughs to approx. 1/8” thickness. Using a knife, cut each dough into 8 equal-sized square pieces. You will now have 16 pieces but will only need 12 for the cups and the remainder will be used for the top crusts (cut each of the 4 extra pieces into 6 strips for a total of 24 thin strips - see pics).
Grease the muffin tin holes by brushing with a generous amount of margarine/ butter. Place one dough square into each muffin hole and press the dough firmly so there are no air pockets and the corners of the dough come over the sides. Place a heaping portion of leftover mix (approx. 1 cup) into each dough pocket and place 2 small dough strips cross-like over each pie, pinching at the seams. Brush with butter/margarine and top with a sprinkle of the remainder of Angell Spice!
NOTE: This recipe is for 12 pot pies but how many you make depends on how many leftovers you have. Each pot pie needs approx. 1 cup of leftover mix.

SEE NOTE ABOVE TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH OF EACH INGREDIENT YOU NEED. THE GOAL IS TO USE UP ALL YOUR LEFTOVERS!
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In your pre-heated oven, place pot pies on mid-upper rack and cook for 15-17 mins. Check after 15 mins - use a fork to lift up one of the pot pies looking for a golden brown bottom. The top will be also be golden brown when done. Let stand for 5 mins before taking the pot pies out of the muffin tin.
While the pot pies cook, cook the package of gravy or heat up your chosen soup (just heat up right out of the can, not adding any liquid of any kind to the soup).
Using a large spoon and a butter knife, lift each pot pie out of each muffin hole. Plate and top with your soup mix/ gravy. Enjoy!
